The traditional evening ceremony unfolded in St. John‘s United Methodist Church in Lutherville. Afterward, the wedding party lingered for a few pictures -- but not too many. "I was adamant that our guests not wait for hours while we took photos after the ceremony," Erin says. "Of course, Seth and I wanted to enjoy the reception too!"
Erin carried a bouquet of white and ivory roses and ranunculuses.
"We couldn‘t choose between two flavors, so we decided to have both and let our guests choose!" Erin says. The confection alternated between layers of yellow cake with raspberry-almond filling and black-and-white marble cake, all coated in buttercream frosting that, the bride exclaims, "seriously tasted like a stick of butter!"
Erin‘s number-one wedding concern? The gown. She traveled to Manhattan especially to find the Romona Keveza gown she had her heart set on. "It‘s definitely a Cinderella-style dress with a large ball-gown skirt," she explains. "The color was diamond white, but it really took on different shades of white or ivory depending on the light." "Grace" by Romona Keveza, in diamond white silk taffeta.
After the long night of dining and dancing, Erin and Seth gave guests a pick-me-up favor that many were able to put to good use the next morning -- personalized packets of coffee. "Seth literally cannot live without his coffee. I couldn‘t think of what to give as favors, and he came up with the idea of giving coffee in little bags. My mom and I tied them into small ivory bags with a green ribbon."
Erin and Seth dated for just a few weeks during their sophomore year, after Erin had asked Seth out for a date. Be that as it may, Seth carried a torch for Erin through the years, and on the very last day of their senior year of school he asked her out.

Turns out, he was just in time! The two have been together ever since, and after Seth proposed, they began planning a wedding near their home in Maryland.
